decreasing node input count not automatically breaking needless connections

ive noticed that when removing an input from a node that has a connection it doesnt remove the input/break the connection automatically? not even with the multi_node_preset. we have to break the connection and then increment/decrement the input number by 1 for it to update.

I agree - it would mean a slip of the slider would result in a broken graph

    Hello Phil,

     

    Just so we're clear, you're mentionning this behavior or am I missing something?

     

     

    If so, that is the expected behavior. As long as you add a connection, it can't be broken by the "input number" parameter, you'll have to remove it manually. I think it would bring more trouble if the parameter automatically could break connections.
