Substance Designer won't give you a waring when you use a non supported version sbsar

I think the message on the console is not easy to see, maybe we can add a warning symbol in the upper left corner of the node.

Actually there is a warning but you can only find it in the console. 
To display the console, find the menu named 'Windows' (same place as File or Edit) and then choose 'Console'.
There you should see the same warning I highlighted in the screenshot 🙂 
The console is the place where we log all errors and warnings. Maybe, here, you would prefer a pop up that clearly says it's not compatible, like the one you get if you try to open a sbs that is more recent than your Designer's version.
If it's the case, I'll see what we can do
