App is adding black background to GIF’S when overlaid on top of videos

When adding GIF’S to overlay on top of my videos, the app adds a black background to the GIF’S. When using the ‘remove background’ option, the feature does a terrible job at removing the background the app created.Adobe Premiere Rush never had this issue, it would seamlessly display the GIF over the videos without adding a background. I’ve tried multiple export settings in procreate, the app in which I make the GIF’S, but that doesn’t matter, because the same process I used in Premiere Rush should be consistent with Premiere Pro.

Thanks for sharing, but I'll need to look at the premiere

project. Here's a recording for how to access the share setting. Thanks again and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for explaining what’s happening. I’d expect a GIF overlay to keep its transparent background, so a copy of the project would help us evaluate why it’s showing up black. We’ll investigate.

From the project thumbnail, tap the three-dot menu, then Share Project. Email the zipped project file to pgaraway@adobe.com
