Description:

After updating macOS to version 27.0 (Golden Gate), the progress indicator displayed on the Adobe Media Encoder icon in the macOS Dock no longer updates during an export.

When an export is running:

• The progress bar appears on the Adobe Media Encoder Dock icon.

• The export itself works normally.

• The progress percentage and progress bar inside Adobe Media Encoder update correctly.

• However, the progress bar on the Dock icon appears and immediately stops at its initial position. It does not advance as the export progresses.

• The problem occurs consistently.

This functionality worked correctly before updating macOS to 27.0.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Adobe Media Encoder 2026 version 26.3.2.

2. Add a video file to the Queue.

3. Start an export.

4. Observe the Adobe Media Encoder icon in the macOS Dock.

5. The Dock progress indicator appears but remains stationary, while the progress indicator inside Media Encoder continues to update normally.

Expected behavior:

The progress indicator on the Adobe Media Encoder Dock icon should continuously update and reflect the current export progress.

Actual behavior:

The Dock progress indicator appears but remains frozen at its initial position for the entire export.

Additional troubleshooting performed:

• Restarted the macOS Dock using killall Dock.

• Restarted Adobe Media Encoder.

• Removed the older Adobe Media Encoder 2025 Dock icon, leaving only Media Encoder 2026.

• Re-registered Adobe Media Encoder 2026 with macOS LaunchServices.

• Confirmed that the Media Encoder export process itself is working correctly.

• Confirmed that the progress indicator inside Media Encoder updates normally.

None of these steps resolved the issue.

The issue appears to be related to the communication between Adobe Media Encoder and the macOS Dock progress indicator after upgrading to macOS 27.0.
