Adobe Media Encoder hangs without finishing render since Late October update

Hello!

Since an update to media encoder in October, it seems it will no longer render videos. Adobe Premiere renders each file fine, it only occurs when I try to render with media encoder. It begins to render the video but then takes longer and longer until it finally stops responding and never finishes the render. I have tried changing codecs, and I have also tried changing various settings such as "max render". No luck. I have also reinstalled Media encoder. I have not downgraded as a solution yet, although I may need to. I understand that I can, but I don't consider that an actual solution to the issue. It started happening immediately after the 32.0 encoder update. It continues to happen with the 32.0.1 update I installed on 11/8/2022. I am working in Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS Build 22621.755 Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22636.1000.0

This might have been a simple cause.  Premiere, unlike other applications that use 3rd party audio effect, will not automatically update the list of audio effects.  The effects must be scanned by the user.  To do this, and I highly recommend you do, go to "Preferences>Audio>Audio Plug-in Manager...".  In the dialog you will want to press the button "Scan for Plug-ins".  Also, since you have updated and moved some effects around, you will probably want to place a check next to "Rescan existing Plug-ins".

If you already know this sorry for covering it again.  I'm posting also so anyone searching in the future will be able to help solve their issue if they find this thread.

Hello EckiAME,

I did not try the import sequences natively checkbox. But I did manage to solve the issue. The issue was happening because my Waves audio VST3 plugins version 12 seem to have stopped working with the latest adobe premiere update. The audio plugins were marked in the premiere track mixer as (Offline), and you would think this would still allow a file sent to media encoder to render - but apparently that was not the case. Premiere was able to render within itself with the plugins offline, but on trying to render that same file in media encoder, it never completed the render. To solve this, I updated my Waves plugins to version 14, the latest provided by that software company. I brought removed the old VST3 wavesshell from the audio plugins area of adobe premiere, and then I added the new Waves 14 VST3 versions. Then in my premiere track mixer, I was able to replace the (Offline) plugins with the new Waves 14 versions. They worked and once they were all reconfigured my videos now render in premiere and in media encoder successfully. Thank you for attempting to assist.

Thank you for your feedback. Can you share the project for repro? Did you try to check/uncheck the "Import sequences natively" in your investigations?
