AE export to Media Encoder fails using NEF raw sequence

Hi team,

I'm attempting to send a raw photo sequence from AE to Media Encoder for export.  The photo sequence is edited in Lightroom Clasic and then imported to AE. A comp is then created from the image sequence. The sequence is comprised of about 300 Nikon raw NEF files (a timelapse sequence).  I'm attempting exporting in Qucktime Proress HQ format, using the original image size, at 30 fps.   In ME this is the error seen in the log:

Export Error
Error compiling movie. Accelerated Renderer Error

Unable to produce frame.

Writing with exporter: QuickTime
Writing to file: /Volumes/Raid4/Timelapse/2024-04-20_stars/2024-04-20_stars-PROJECTFILES/2024-04-20_stars-AE_AME/2024-04-20_stars comp.mov
Around timecode: 00:00:02:12
Rendering at offset: 2.333 seconds
Component: QuickTime of type Exporter
Selector: 17
Error code: -1609629695

I always reders a few seconds of the sequence and then errors out. I am able to export the same sequence directly from AE with no issues. Prores files created in FCPX and AE can be imported into AE and then sent to ME where the will render OK.  Just the initial image sequence is having issues.

AE: v24.3.0 (Build 50)

ME: v24.3 (Build 49)

Lrc: v13.2

Mac M1 Studio Max, 64gig RAM, Sonoma 14.4.1

This used to work.  Seems that a recent upgrade of either AE or ME created this problem.  Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Paul McCarthy

I am sorry for your issues. Would you be able and willing to share the project and media with us to look into the issue? I can private message you the instructions in this forum.

EckAME,

I certainly would be willing to share media and projects where I have had this issue. It has happened with multiple projects where sending the image sequence to ME fails but rendering in AE succeeds.

Please let me know how I can share media and project files with you. FYI - A few hundred camera RAW files will be large.
