After Effects comp won't connect to Media Encoder on Mac

I can't seem to connect After Effects to Media Encoder.

Running:

MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2021 M1 Max 32GB, MacOS Sonoma 14.5.

AE Version 24.5.0 (Build 52)

ME Version 24.5 (Build 50)

- When I click "Add to Media Encoder Queue..." it opens up Media Encoder but nothing happens.

- When I drag a Comp from AE to ME, ME directly goes "Not Responding" and has to Force Quit it.

- Tried uninstalling and installing both AE and ME.

- Worked when queueing Sequence from Premiere

Can you please try the following:

  1. Verify your own AntiVirus / GateKepper setup. If applicable, deactivate temporarily to verify. On Windows, turn off the Windows Firewall.
  2. Quit all Adobe apps.
  3. Use Activity Monitor / Task Manager to kill DynamicLinkManager if it still runs. (On Windows, you need to open the Details tab to see dynamiclingmanager.exe in TaskManager.)
  4. Launch AME first.
  5. Open & export the project again.

Please let me know if this workaround works for you.
