AME takes 2 minutes until starting encoding

After updating to version V24.1 Media Encoder takes up to 2 minutes until reading XMP-Data and starting encoding. In the meantime you will get no response from AME so it is very confusing because are not sure, if AME will to anything or if AME is hang up.

So any response (progress bar, spinng wheel) will be helpful.

Using AME with Premiere Pro and "Import sequences natively" is OFF.

Hi Detlef,

since I guess we know each other 🙂 please reach out to me directly (e mail). I agree we must adress this issue with high priority.

Sounds horrible. Would you be able to share a project with media? I can private message you in this forum with some instructions.

We are talking about a 60 minute Timeline with MXF-Footage (without XMP-Sidecar), Audio-WAVs (no mp3) and rendered MOGRTs (QT ProRess 4444).

I compared a timeline with V24 and V23:

PP/AME V23.6: after 10" "reading XMP" after 20" starting encoding

PP/AME V24.1: after 55" "reading XMP" after 60" starting encoding

Can you provide a bit of details about your ptoject? Formats, number of files, audio files? Are the XMP sidecar files for mp4s? I will try to repro.
