BUG after update to 23.3 - plug ins loading each time Encoder is started

Hello,

Just noticed this after updating to the latest and greatest version 🙂 23.3

We the keyboard shorcut to send media to Adobe Media Encoder for export instead of using the export panel within Premiere is back! Hooray.

BUT...if I open media encoder using the shorcut it loads all the plug ins really slow each time. Usually this is done only once when you open up the program for the first time, after that things are pretty fast. Not here.

However if I open Media Encoder separately it works just fine, plug ins load blazing fast.

Not a big deal, but a bit annoying.

So,

Media Encoder 23.3 build 57

Windows 11

Intel 11th gen i7 processor

Yes, you got it right with one exception.

launching AME by itself or sending to AME via Export Mode?

It makes no difference, shortcut or pushing the button to send to AME is the same thing. AME loads all its .aex plugins really slow.

Also tried it with After Effects 23.3 yesterday. IT's the same thing. Slow if I open AE with "replace with AE composition" but fast if I have AE already opened when I click the "replace with" option.

Thank for the quick answer. Hope you solve it.

Hey there, let me try to repro. So you use Premiere Pro and AME both in 23.3x

You send your sequence to Media Encoder directly via Keyboard Shortcut (shift+alt+M), instead of opening Export Mode in Premiere. By doing so, AME launches way slower, than when launching AME by itself or sending to AME via Export Mode?
