Bug: .jpg Image sequence import not working in Version 24.5 (build 50)

Media encoder is importing .jpg image sequences as a single frame even when "import image sequence" is toggled on in the import dialog box. This works fine with in Media Encoder Beta, but the official build is broken.

In the official build, the only workaround is to manually select all the files in the folder (rather than just the first file of the sequence which normally works). This is tedious as the "cmd-a" command doesn't work in the dialog box to allow selecting all files...

The problem exists with .jpg sequences... .png appear to work. I didn't try other formats.

Cannot reproduce any more in latest Betas on Mac. @minutephysics Can you try again and let me know if this works for you?

It did work in AME Stable 24.6.1.2 but not in AME Beta 25.1.0.39 on MacBook Pro 16" (2021, M1 Max, macOS 14.6.1). Investigating…

I'm still having this same issue, though now it happens both with media encoder official build AND the beta.

I'm using the most up-to-date beta AND official build (24.6.1 build 2). It adds to queue successfully, but not as an image sequence - just the first image as a short video.

I'm on an M1 Max macbook pro, Mac OS Ventura 13.6.2

Tried to reproduce with latest release Adobe Media Encoder 24.6.0.74 on macOS 14.6.1. It worked as expected. Navigate to JPEG folder, select first, choose Image Sequence as option, and add to queue. Can you retry with latest release?
