Bug: third party VST audio plugins are bypassed when rendering videos from Premiere Pro

After upgrading Creative Cloud to 2021.
VST plugins are bypassed when rendering videos from Premiere Pro. However, if exported directly from Premiere Pro, VST effects are applied, no problem.

Ah, fantastic! I've just tried a sample project in the beta and it works perfectly! Do you know when it's due for final release? My projects involve after effects compositions, etc and it's really inconvenient having to convert everything for use with the betas, especially when they don't keep your workspaces and preferences.

This should have already been fixed for AME Beta. Please check https://helpx.adobe.com/media-encoder/using/adding-third-party-plugins.html

This issue seems to be back with the latest version of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. I'm having exactly the same issue with Clarity VX.

AME 24.0.2 includes a fix for this bug and has just been released.

@eckiAMETeam

[UPDATE] On Beta 24.1 I unchecked "Import sequences natively" (Sorry. I misunderstood toggle.) It seems to have rendered the sequence WITH the VSTs applied.

@eckiAMETeam yes. I had both 24.0 Premiere Pro and AME. I've also tested 24.1 (Beta) for both and I found that "Import sequences natively" has already been checked on. I'm getting the same VST bypassed audio results.

My current fix was to roll back to v23.6 but I'm losing out on the timeline improvements of v24.0. I'm running these on an M1 Air running Ventura 13.4. Plugins in question are Waves Clarity VX (v14.12.90.381) and accentize DeRoom 2 (v2.0.1).

Do you have matching versions of AME and Premiere Pro installed? Try to toggle "Import sequences natively".

Using version 24 right now. The same bug is back...

I think this may have been resolved at one point, only to comeback again. I did not have this issue until I updated Media Encoder to 22.5 last week. I’m on an M1 Mac mini (MacOS 12.4). Premiere Pro 22.5 exports the file correctly.
