CHRONIC font problems with Encoder

Adobe Media Encoder keeps showing Bebas font missing. Sometimes it doesn't cause a problem sometimes it does. And this is really disrupting my workflow and has been a problem for like a year. I've reported it before and Adobe said "it is a known problem" but that was like a f!#%#ing year ago.

If I preview it via encoder you can see the fonts actually look correct.

But, in premiere it looks complete f!!@#$ing different!

Is this a joke? I mean, I'm paying a lot of money for this chronically broken software.

I am happy that it now works for you.

Hello, I disabled it and seems to work now. I will make more tests, and let you know if it fails again. Thanks for your help

We fixed a lot of font-related issues in 24.x versions. Would you be able to test with the most recent betas?

Did you try toggle "Import sequences natively"?

Hello,

any news about this? I'm using Montserrat Bold in my project, I have the full family installed, works correctly in Premiere Pro and After Effects, but I get the warning and font substitution in AME. Version 23.6 (build 62)

Thanks Marina

Can you please try the latest beta and let me know if the issue is still there?

@eckiAMETeam is there any news on this? we have several issues on FONTS. recognized in Adobe premiere. when export to AME on same machine we get the "replace by default" FONT issue. Mostley when we restart AME or computer or we reexport it can be it is correct?

We see this on several machines, several users , several different fonts.

We are on Adobe 23.3 and PC

We have a bug around missing fonts. Sorry for the inconveniences. We are looking into the issue.

For the record, I just updated the software after posting this and it's still a problem. This time however I was able to get Bebas back and use it. But, what's insane is, as you can see above, Bebas wasn't even selected, I guess Acumin is the fallback font. I'm able to render it properly but Encoder still says it's a missing font, even though it right f%#$@^ing there.
