Drag and Drop buggy in Windows 11 Pro (would put more in title but you have a dumb character limit)

Drag and Drop often not working.

Not sure why

Could be to do with Windows pointless huge Icons that appear when dragging.

Maybe they are overlapping with something.

Could be another UI scaling problem as UHD screen at 125% UI.

Sporadic and I have yet to understand what causes it

I think the OS just can't keep up with fast app switching with alt+TAB. Windows thing not Adobe, for once!

I was not able to reproduce your issue in Adobe Media Encoder 2023 23.5.0.51 at 125% scale in Windows 11 21H2.

Thanks for the additional info. Will verify your issue tomorrow.

I never use Beta. The release apps are untested enough!

.Always keep everything up to date.

Probably a Windows thing when AltTab switching. Maybe Windows is loading / drawing the pointless massive icons just as the app switch brings AME to focus.

Don't think I am overlapping any of the drop zones.

Had a few issues with AE due to 125% UI scaling that were fine at 100 & 150%.

Sorry to hear that. Which version of AME are you talking about? Beta or Release? I'll try to repro.

I'm not going anything so laborious thank you! I just try again and it works.

This stuff has to be fast for us in the trenches

Sorry to hear that drag and drop from Explorer to the Queue tab is not working as expected on your computer.

What happens if you use File > Add Source or click the Add Source button in the Queue tab?
