Encoder 2025 takes all the memory on the hard drive

After installing Encoder 2025 and Premier Pro 2025 I am experiencing a very annoying issue. My hard drive has about 50GB free, I create a queue in the encoder of 5+ videos(about 3GB each), and when the Encoder reaches 4 or more videos I get the message of out of memory (RAM) and my hard drive has about 100 MB free space. When I close the Encoder, the hard drive's memory returns to 50GB. I tried to encode it to the external drive instead of internal and the result was the same. With this bug, I cannot use Premier Pro/Encoder 2025 because I need to save 5+ videos daily.

My Machine: Apple M1 Max, 32 GB RAM, OS: Sonoma 14.2.1

The video setting is attached below

In the 2024 versions, everything worked as expected.

So, it does not swap. How much disk space is left when encoding? There are a lot of temp files in 2pass, and muxing also takes up some more space.

After your message, I did the following flow:

Created a queue of 3 videos (3.38GB,3.38GB, 2.99GB), before I started the encoding, the RAM of the encoder was 400mb, after I started the encoding, it jumped to 7GB(when the video encoding itself started, after "Preparing Audio"), and then it increased to 21GB on the last video. And it still was 21GB after the process had been finished so from what I understand there is some memory cycle and after it finishes encoding one video and goes to another the memory is not freed from the last video.

The same happens on the internal hard drive when I encode straight into an external drive, the internal disk is filled with cache which is cleared only when I close the encoder

Can you have a look at Activity Monitor during encode to observe memory consumption? Does the system start to swap, per chance?
