iPhone footage is overexposed after export

I already know how to fix this in Premiere Pro as shown in https://youtu.be/z4lkODFtwHQ . That's by changing the Media Color Space to Rec 2020. However, the color space is greyed out in ME. So, how could I fix the overexposed video in ME?

After adding iPhone footage in Adobe Media Encoder, go to the Queue Panel, look for the item, and context-click into the file name. Go to "Interprete footage..." and review information provided in the "Color" section including Input LUTs and color space.

Thanks for your reply.

I didn't know where the "interpret footage" is located in AME.

I found were to change the color space as shown in https://youtu.be/7-VLwQB3RYI

This then fixed the overexposed exported clips.

Did you send over the footage from PPro? Or trancode it directly in AME?

What is the exact version of AME you are currently using? Can you share your specs (OS, CPU, GPU, memory)? Would you be able to share some small sample footage that illustrates the issue?

Also: Did you verify the "Override color space" drop down in "Interpret footage"?
