Large Queue lists cause system and rendering to get slower and slower

I've noticed if I set up a large number of files to proxy or transcode, over time my system gets slower and slower and slower and the items in AME get slower and slower and slower to render. and the application is so, so sluggish to respond.

I find I have to constantly quit the software (which can take a long time to properly do), and restart it to get it to a normal render pace again.

For large lists I end up using other, more reliable and speedier applications. But I would prefer to just use AME. 🤷‍♂

Actually, I was informed we're more in the hundreds. A group of which would normally be completed in an ornight proxy "dump" But lately would not finish even after  athree-day long weekend. Lately have been making GoPro Cineform proxies (used to do LT ProRes 422).

100 is not much. What kinds of proxy transcodes do you usually perform, i.e. which formats? I'll try to repro on my MacIntel iMacPro.

Often over 100. MacPro 2019 96gigs of RAM - 52 allocated to AME. Latest versions of OS and Adobe apps to date.

How many items  do you have in the queue? On what machine (OS, CPU, GPU)  are you running AME?
