Media encoder 2023 doesn’t render if I leave it or open another app but my computer specs is good

hey there,

when I render using Media Encoder 2023 I must stay around and keep moving the mouse every now and then. Otherwise, the rendering would stop until I move my mouse or click on the keyboard or whatever to get my laptop to be active.

it is weird I know. But I will give another example.

mid I have a project in premiere and render it using Media Encoder, and go back to my project in premiere, the render will either move very very slow or would stop until I switch to Media Encoder window. Only then, the render would move as expected. If I switch my to premier (or whatever software) the render would stop or move extremely slow.

so to get my render done I have to keep watching and monitoring it and make sure it is moving normally or so if it slow I have to move the mouse or the keyboard.

I need a solution please

another thing, compare to older versions of media encoder, 2023 version is slower and uses less of the RAM and CPU and GPU

as I'm speaking. It renders now a project that with simple effect and transitions. The project is 7 min and the estimate time to render is 1 hour. If I open any app or minimize Media Encoder it increase to over 2 hours.

media encoder only uses 22% of RAM (32 GB) even though I optimized 28 GB to Adobe from the settings. It uses 13% of CPU (intel i9 - 4.61 GHz)

and 1% of GPU (GeForce RTX 2060 with MAX-Q)

my laptop specs:

intel i9 10th generation- 2.4 GHz, 8 cores

RAM 32GB

Storage 1TB SSD Samsung 980 pro

GPU Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 with Max-Q design

windows 11

dude i basically have the same issue, its annoying asf, i get 20-30% cpu 40% mem and 5% gpu usage and if i try and do an overnight render i wake up to it frozen like 30 mins of rendering after i went to bed lol
