Media Encoder Automatic Shutdown triggered when user presses "STOP"

Media Encoder 2025 (25.1), Windows
Unwanted behaviour/bug.

-Media Encoder Automatic Shutdown will turn off computer if the user presses STOP on their queue.

I think it's safe to assume if the user is interacting with the program, to STOP it, that they do not want to shutdown their machine. At the very least it should ask the user if they wish to shutdown.

"STOP" button ≠ Queue Complete

Sorry, I wasn't clear. That is exactly the problem, if the checkbox is toggled the computer will shutdown if you stop your queue manually instead of when the queue is complete.

This should not be the default behavior, you should at least be warned that the checkbox is toggled and asked if you wish to shutdown when you press stop. There's nothing more infuriating than stopping a queue to correct something, with the checkbox already toggled, and having your pc shutdown in your face without a single warning.

Hope that clears it up. Thanks!

Did you check "Auto computer shutdown", per chance? It is below the queue panel.
