Media Encoder crashes PC with certain Premiere Pro 3D Effect settings

Media encoder started to crash on jobs similar to ones I've run successfully until today.  Seems to happen when the I'm setting Premiere's Basic 3D Tilt setting to various angles (e.g. 50).  Media encoder will rund for several minutes, but then crashes.  The PC screen goes blank and monitor says 'no signal'.  Graphics card's or PCs Fan (not sure which) starts to go high speed.  Cannot recover without forced power down of PC.

Running "less stressful" jobs does not crash the system.  For example, I broke the video into a couple of parts and rendered them separately, followed by merging them together.  Same video effect settings were used.  So, there seems to be a memory leak/stack overflow type issue.

Tried regressing to earlier Adobe versions, but still crashed.  Tried updating all drivers.  I'm not sure what changed from yesterday when things works fine, but there were some other Adobe updates (not Premiere or Media encoder) that were installed (reason why I tried regressing to earlier revs).

Media Encoder 24.4.1 Build 2

Premiere Pro 24.4.1 Build 2

HP OMEN 45L GT-22 with SSD disks

Windows 11 version 22H2

GeForce RTX3080 Studio Driver 555.99

32GB Ram

Thank you for your project. After offlining all missing files (there were roughly 20), I was able to export your sequence "N.R. - A." on macOS 14.5 and Win 11 no problem. This was tested with "Import sequences natively" turned on.

Did you also try with "Import sequences natively" turned on and off, and with Software-only rendering to rule more things out?

Thank you very much for investigating. I will send you a private message.

A different rendering job just failed.  This time I turned off all of the Basic 3D Effects, but it still failed.  I then turned off the Opacity Mask (a rectangle mask with timed Mask Path, Mask Feather at 200), and this time the rendering worked.

Yesterday I did a number of projects with Opacity masks and even some Basic 3D (Swivel set to around 1 to 5, or so), and these jobs all rendered properly.

So, the issue seems to be at a more basic level than just how the Basic 3D software works.

Did a test - tried to render to High Quality 1080 HD, but this also failed at roughly the same point (though a little earlier in the rendering job).

Another detail.  While much of the source video is 4K, it is being rendered into a YouTube 1080p Full HD/H.264 format.

Yes.  I've recreated a test project that crashes about midway during the Media Encoder rendering job.

Would you be able to share your project? I can private message you the instructions in this forum.

I should add that it was a 4K video taken on an iPhone 15Pro, High Efficiency format, image stabilized using Mercalli 6.0 into an .mp4 file.

I'll try to repro.
