Sorry to hear this. It can be very frustrating when unexpected things happen in Media Encoder.

When working as expected, the advantage of Media Encoder is that we can continue to work in After Effects on the same project or another project while Media Encoder exports the Compositions that have been sent to it.

To help troubleshoot your issue, it would be helpful to know:

  • Are you getting an error message in Media Encoder that indicates why the item in the Queue failed?
  • Which version of After Effects are you running?
  • Which version of Media Encoder are you running?
  • What version is your operating system?
  • If running Windows, which graphics driver are you running?
  • What are the current Memory settings in After Effects (Settings > Memory & Performance) or in Media Encoder (Settings > Memory)?
  • What is your hardware configuration (RAM, processor, Display RAM, Storage Media)?
  • What file formats are you using in After Effects?
  • What other applications are running at the time you export from After Effects using the Adobe Media Encoder Queue?

When rendering with H.264 in 264X12 the result video becomes 264X16
No problem in .avi .mov .gif
