Media Encoder not working.

I am running Mac Pro 2019 Ventura 13.5.2

Premiere Pro 24.0.3 (Build 2)

Media Encoder 24.0.3 (Build 2) So we have the same versions running. That answers that question

When I send a sequence to export to ME it no longer encodes  but it says it's Encoding. When I go to "stop" it tells me that it is Encoding do I want to strop it?

In the very recent past like before it updated version I was able to encode multiple sequences.

I have no problem encoding a single sequence from within Premiere Pro itself.

Often what ME does is says it's conecting to "Dynamic Link" "This may take a few minutes"

But it never really connects. I attach a screen grab.

I get no encode preview, although show preview is checked in settings.

Just an update, I also have ME 24.2 Beta installed and it works fine.

All was fine a version ago.....

Thank you,

Greg

We are looking into the reasons to learn from the issue. I was only able to repro the issue on MacIntel, though. Thanks for bringing that up!

I can confirm that exporting now to ME is working wioth PP version 24.1.0. Thank you. Does the Adobe team have any feedback on wehat caused this?

I was able to repro using PPro & AME 24.0.3. Switching off "Import sequences natively" did fix the issue for me. It did work in 24.1, though. Can you please confirm the issue is fixed there? Thanks again for your help!

Does it make a difference that I am running PP version 24.03 (Build 2)

Media Encoder version 24.03 (Build 2)

Here is my posting from a week or so ago on another community...

This is to let you know that I was not able to repro your issue yet. I do not think that we have a general issue with MXF

I just copied over four Sony FX9 flavor files with MXFs and imported them into Adobe Premiere Pro 24.1.0.65 and created a sequence and exported the sequence plain without any effects to Adobe Media Encoder 24.1.0.68 using the "H.264 High Quality 1080p HD". In AME, I just started the queue and played back the resulting file.

This test was on a MacBook Pro 16-inch 2021 with an Apple M1 Max chip on Sonoma 14.2 Beta. I need to rerun this test on an Intel-based Mac once I get a hand on it.

Let me try and find some Sony FX9 files for testing.

I've never had an isseu with .mxf files at all. They are shot with Sony FX9 on Sony 240gig XQD cards recorded internally on the camera.

So I read a posting about ME not working with .mxf files. This is the issue I am having, so i decided to try .mp4 files. Low and behold ME worked with no issue. What could the issue be with those files?
