Media Encoder rendering - 100% CPU and 98% of RAM

Hi all,

I hope this is the right place to post.

Windows 11 Home 64 bit

ME 2025 build 54

Every time I render with ME the CPU utilisation goes up to 100% and it almost eats up all the RAM. Yesterday I was using both ME and PP at the same time when PP crashed. Even after that, the CPU used by ME was 100%. Is there a way to prevent this? I took some screenshots of what's happening while I was rendering a video yesterday, find them below.

CPU

Memory

GPU

Processes

Any help is highly appreciated.

Would you be able to share a project? I can send you a private message in this forum with the instructions.

Just to add, I fired the file to encode from PP to ME directly. Apple ProRes codec was the source video but it was encoded as H.264 by ME.
