Media Encoder Source Range defaulting to "Work Area" when sent from Premiere

I suppose this might actually be an intentional choice but it seems like a bug, since for as long as I've been using Media Encoder, a file's Source Range has defaulted to the in/out of your Premiere (currently on v24.5.0 Build 57) sequence, if it had one.

I'm on version 24.5 Build 50 of Media Encoder and, when exporting separate parts of a sequence, now have to manually adjust my settings for each queued file and change the source range from "Work Area" to "Sequence In/Out".

Just looking for clarity on whether or not this was intentional. And if it was, I would love an option to default to in/out (or any of the other options for that matter). Thank you for your help!

Attached are screenshots of my machine's information, a 20 frame in/out of a 30 minute sequence, and the resulting default preset in Media Encoder.

The betas are working for me as well. Thank you!

Thanks for checking. I'll download the latest beta and confirm my results!

I tested in Premiere Pro and AME 25.0 betas. I added multiple encodes with in-and-out points. Each correctly showed "Source In & Out" (and not "Work Area") and the correct part. Can you verify this in the latest beta?
