Media Encoder V23 Exporting Mute on Channel 2

We've found when exporting content in Media Encoder on both a MacBook Pro and an iMac Pro that the second audio channel has been muted. So far I have tested transcoding from a mutlichannel ProRes 422 HQ to stereo H.264, AVCi100 and ProRes Proxy. All transcodes resulted in Channel 1 containing audio and channel 2 being muted.

Is there any fixes available for this? On one of our machines, we're unable to downgrade to an older version.

I can confirm that the issue appears to have been resolved in the beta version.

Awesome, I'll check that out.

Hi all,
this should be fixed in the next release (23.1). You already should be able to verify it, if you check the actual AME Beta version.

I am having the same issue with the right channel being muted when exporting from a ProRes source. It's been happening on V23 and not V22 or earlier. You can select "mono" on the audio channels configuration tab and it will duplicate the channels on both channels 1 & 2 and it gives you audio on both channels but MediaInfo reads it as "Channel(s) 1 and Channel Layout C" (center). It definitely a bug in V23.

I've just tested from AVCi100 to proxy, the audio exported correctly. It seems this issue is limited to transcodes from ProRes.
