MediaEncoder not starting

I am using Adobe CC since one month on my notebook (operating system: Windows 10 Pro). After the last update of my Adobe Media Encoder (to v25.0), it no longer starts. Only the splash screen is displayed, but without a loading status text.

I then uninstalled version 25.0 and installed many of the previous versions (v24.6.3, v24.6.1, v24.6, v24.5, v24.4.1) - one after the other. But even with all these versions I have the same problem.

I don't know what to do. It is also surprising that it worked before the first update to v25.0, although I don't know which version it was. But I only installed it at the end of September, so it must have been one of the last ones (v24.6.3 ?).

Although this is very weird I am happy that it works for you. Please let me know any new findings or guesses. We are always interested in getting to the bottom of things.

I tried it today again and now it is working. I have not really changed anything, there were only some Windows updates in the background. Maybe they solved the problem. However, thanks for your help!

I think, the asio async_connect error: asio.system:10061 is non-fatal. This should not lead to AME shutdown.

Can you collect all logs using https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html and private message me the zip file or a link to it?

I tried to start AME with via the CMD (as administrator) with C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder 2025>"Adobe Media Encoder.exe". There are two cases:

Case 1: I started directly after the restart of the computer. In this case it starts and I see the AME window, but when I click in it the window is freezing and it shows "no feedback" ("keine Rückmeldung"). The CMD output is following:

It seems that the program cannot connect with my account.

Case 2: When I first start the Adobe CC, and then execute the above command in CMD, it only shows the splash screen (without a loading status text) and nothing more happens. There is also no output of the CMD.

Maybe there is a problem with connecting to Adobe Server to verify my account for this AME program? All the other Adobe programs starts without any problem. Is there any further logfile where I can see more info whats happening in the background?

Can you try to launch from the command prompt and paste the output of AME here? Maybe that gives a clue.

I noticed that the “Enhanced Speech” plugin was installed by default, which I have now uninstalled. But the Adobe Media Encoder still won't start. I have also not installed any special security/antivirus software. Only the standard Windows testtings.

Do you have third-party plug-ins or security/antivirus software installed?
