Need to disable network adapter for media encoder to start encoding, why? Win10

Hi,

I need to disable network adapter for media encoder to start encoding.

Why?

I had exact same problem with AME 2019, and that was the main reason for me to switch to the newest one available.

After a few monts I have the same problem with the newest AME.

I mean, where does AME needs to connect prior to start encoding and why it is unable to do so?
Logically,  disabled network adapter means there is no connection whatsoever for AME, telling it DO NOT EVEN TRY TO connect, and then it works.

Ideas, solutions?

windows10, latest update
latest adobe

Do you have any optimization software running in the background?

Who knows... adobe updates, windows updates, almost every day something.  2019 worked fine until one day... 2024 worked fine until one day...

LIke I said, when I want something from AME, I have 2 choices:

1.Wait for timeout and then try again, most of the time it works then... (loosing time, everytime)

2.Disable Network adapter and then it works immediately

That is really weird. I am not aware that DynamicLink uses network connection, though. It manages inter app communication on the same machine.

So when did it stop working correctly? After an app update? After a system upgrade? Or with a new project?

Dynamic link connection is the main problem I guess. It cannot connect to somewhere and I don't know where and why. Then, after it timeouts with error, if I try it again, it connects and starts processing, most of the time. The other way around is to disable network adabter in the first place, like I said....

Would you happen to have any additional (network) security software or firewalls installed on this machine?

AME 24.5 (Build 50)  full version of Adobe, all apps.  But I doubt it's about the version. Like I wrote, I already had those problems with AME 2019... And I jumped from 2019 to 2024 because of that. 2024 worked for few months like it should, and now this again 😞

Weird. Never heard such an issue before. Probably checking licensing. Which version do you use now? Is it a full version or a trial?
