New version of Media Encoder cannot import AVI files with MJPEG codec

This is to let you know that the issue is now resolved in the 23.6 and 24.x versions of AME and Premiere Pro.

Because this info is always the starting point to be able to help you. We need to try to repro on a similar environment.

Why do you need configuration of the system if I tell that older version of AME program works fine but two newer versions of AME do not work. The system is the same. I do not change configuration, I just uninstall one version of AME and install another. It means that problem is in AME, not system configuration.

Can you please copypaste your hardware specs & software versions.

What kind of system report info should I provide?

I have tried to repro using Adobe Media Encoder 23.3.0.57 on Windows 11 and the file did not import for me.

I think MJPEG is a codec that is provided by some systems. Can you please private message me with your system report info. Our Formats gusys will look into it more.
