Short videos are not fully exported on Mac
Most of our content is long form (documentaries, broadcast, films, etc), however when we do short form (commercials, promos, etc) that are approximately less than a minute... upon export the video as an h264 it is always cut short and typically "freezes" on a frame for the last few seconds of the video (audio is fine). Long form is fine.
We have tried exporting as different formats such as ProRes 422 or 4444 and, then taking that video as an h264 and same thing happens.
We have toyed with the Renderer from software only to Metal, and have had mixed results. It sometimes works, but more often still simply freezes the last few moments. Older Macs seem to be more "reliable" in getting the full video when running Software Only verses newer Macs which consistently cut it short.
We've also tried directly out of Premiere with same results, across multiple machines of different generations.
This has been an issue for our team for awhile, but as mentioned, only on Macs. As we're both a Windows and Mac studio, our workaround has been simply to export the videos on one of the PCs.
Any advice would be appreciated.
