The order of the Media Encoder queue has reversed, with no option to change it back

The order of the Media Encoder queue has been reversed. Items are now added bottom-to-top and the queue runs in that reversed direction too. There is no option that I can see to revert this back. I assume this is a bug, as nobody would have requested this as a feature.

    Hi there,

could you. share a little more details on how you got to that state? Did you drag multiple items from the Finder / Explorer into the Queue? In what moment did the queue inverted the order? What version are you running and on which OS plattform?

I’m also experiencing this. Regardless of how items are added, whether it be queuing them via Premiere, or simply adding files through the media browser, the queue now moves from the bottom to the top. I believe it began with the latest update. I would roll back, but it’s not a problem that’s affecting workflow; it’s merely an annoyance.

Trashing preferences did not resolve it.

    On Apple Silicon, v26.2.2.

EDIT: I uninstalled, restarted, and re-installed, and that seems to have fixed it.
