22.44.0.19 crashing system

Steps to reproduce:
    1. ...Rendering a project that is 2048x1536 4:3 to 1920x1080 16:9, letterboxed. using any number of combinations of preset or custom settings
 
Result: ... Rendering nearly completes then system hangs - no mouse, no keyboard, have to crash out, leaves sizable temporary files in destination folder.
Expected: ... Rendering to complete without crash
