Media Encoder Beta Some object masks are offline and are therefore ignored.

I’m currently using Premiere Pro Beta v26.0 along with Media Encoder Beta v26.0.
After completing a mask operation in Premiere Pro Beta, I tried to render the project through Media Encoder Beta.

However, the following warning appeared:
“Media Encoder Beta: Some object masks are offline and are therefore ignored.”

As a result, the masked areas are not rendered properly.
When I use Premiere Pro Beta’s built-in render system, the mask exports correctly, but when I send the project to Media Encoder Beta, the mask data doesn’t transfer.

I have a workaround.

Take the layers that you’ve used an object mask on, cut them out and create a new sequence.

Copy and paste the layers as they are (do not tweak them in this new sequence) and simply export the in to out. This seems to work for me.

If you start copying things in and getting the error again, create a new sequence and repeat.

I’m surprised that this is still an issue not that Pr2026 is out but I’m having the same issue with the new masking tool in Pr. I'm experiencing a error when I try exporting from Pr to Me I get this error message. “some of the object masks are offline and will be ignored” the suggested workaround isn’t working but I was able to export from Pr itself but that is not a long-term fix.

Same error here. exporting masked timelines w media encoder creates a warning & does not include the masks.

export within premiere pro 2026 works.

what up adobe? :)

We're having the same issue. 2 short clips with masks and animations behind them. I tried James_Alexander's recommendation and re-tracked the mask, but no success.

Additionally, I'm trying to export the sequence directly from Premiere v26.0.0.027, and it crashes EVERY time (the window disappears).

Tested on complex sequences as well as simple sequences...

It's important to point out that exporting from the previous version v26.0.0.0?? didn't have any issues. (not sure what it was, but it was replaced by this week's update)

go back into the effect controls and re track your mask
