Steps to reproduce:
    1. Import an MPEG 2 VOB file.

2. Export to any of the standard "match source" settings

Result: ... Render is extremely slow
Expected: ... Render to be speedy

Workaround: Use release 25.1 build 65.  MP2>MP4 is very speedy.

Sorry for the delay.

I did extensive testing (266 VOBs transcoded to H.264 match source high bitrate) on my Surface Book 3 (Windows 11 24H2; Intel Core i7, 32GB) using Adobe Media Encoder (Beta) 25.2.0.120, Adobe Media Encoder 25.1.0.65, and Adobe Media Encoder 24.6.4.3 with CUDA enabled. All encodes were within a 5% range which means they are roughly comparable.

So the question is: do you have any system additions such as anti-virus or networking that may slow down your computer?

Actually, just find any MPEG2 VOB off of a random DVD (without copy protection, of course).  I can send you one if you prefer.

Would you happen to have a sample file for me? I will try it on Mac and Win11. I can private message you the instructions in this forum.
