A strange case of Audition crashing/not responding

I've had this issue several times.

When I come back to Audition after several hours (e.g. next day), it is still open and I can see my project, but wherever I click on  within the program - it disappears from my screen which switches to the browser.

It is still open, I can get it back from the Task Bar - but can't do anything with it or in it.

Have to shut it from the Task Manager - as there is no other way available - and reopen.

Is this a known issue?

Windows 10 64 bits. Audition version - 23.2.0.68. Firefox.
