Adobe Audition 2023 upgrade disturbance

Hi, I have used Adobe Audition previous version 2022/Win where I have had several projects in progress. Audition 2023 has also been installed and tested to work. And I plan to move to the new 2023 version once I've finished the projects. At 22.06 there was a new update to Audition 2023, which I downloaded and installed successfully, but when I open it the program does start loading, but after about 30 seconds there is a notification about some glitch and the machine (Win10) needs to be shut down?
Audition 2022 still works ok and I dare not uninstall it because there is no certainty that Audition 2023 will work on my machine, so I will continue to use the 2022 version until the problem is fixed? Please help
Yours Matt

Hi, Sorry, I don't know how to follow your instructions,
So I'll have to try mentioning other ways to make the program work on my machine. For example, could you send me an installation link to the program?
Good though Audtion 2022 works, but for the 2023 version I still pay all the time...
It's amazing that 2023 only worked, but after the 22.06 update, the program tilts..

That link is meaningless - it's onto your hard drive. And it really does need to be a copy of the text file into this thread - no links at all.

There is no problem with leaving multiple versions of Audition on your machine - they've always co-existed quite happily.

Whenever Audition is launched, it creates a log. If it crashes during the launch, then it creates a crash log. You can access the logs from the Help menu normally, but if you can't open the software the logs can be accessed by using the information and paths in this thread: Audition crashed - now what? When you've located the crash log, you can open it in Notepad (it's a text file), copy the text and post it into this thread; there's a chance that the reason for it might be obvious, and then we can tell you what it is - possibly. And if we can't, we can suggest other possibilities. And that's the thing - it isn't necessarily a bug at all, but without knowing exactly what's causing this to happen on your machine, we really can't tell. And the log file is the route into that.

FWIW, 23.5.0.48 (Windows version) is working absolutely fine here.
