AUDITION GLITCH when deleting a whole waveform the image of it remains in the Editor panel window

new issue with Audition.

If i highlight the whole waveform and delete it, the content is cleared and the scroll bar along the top is emptied, but the main editor window still hase the waveform image in view.

If I hit record this screen then clears and the recording continues, so the content has been deleted, but for some reason this ghost of the waveform remains in the viewing window until I hit record again.  This was never an issue before latest update.

Has anyone solved this or do we have to "live with it" and accept it?? Just really throws my workflow off LOL

Same issue... clears in the upper window where it tracks but the main window it does not.  I have "adjusted" to it today but hope they correct this.  I mean DELETE does mean DELETE.....

I'm on 2.9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 (bit old but never been an issue before!). It's fine if I delete part of an audio file - it's unique to deleting the whole track.  (it's probably not a common operation - I do it because I save multiple files with sequential titles (chapters of audiobooks mainly) so I usually SAVE AS a new file, then delete the comtents amd start recording. Just streamlines the process of starting a new file with the same settings.

Just tried this operation with the latest beta (25.2.0) and the glitch doesn't seem to occur in that version.

Hmm... no idea why, but this is happening for me too. I'm on a M2 Max running Mac OS 14.7.1. What's your system? Latest release of Audition.

I've no idea when this may have started, since I can't recall ever performing this particular operation.
