Audition is repeating audio when exporting

Recently when I have exported from Audition I have found that my audio has the first half duplicated, this is hard to describe but it copies part of the audio then duplicates it so its still the correct length of the original but halfway through it will restart.

My process is dragging the video file into audition, applying match loudness, then exporting and for some reason the issue appears during this.

@SteveG_AudioMasters_  I believe that is for exporting as a video, in this case I was using video files initially but then exporting only the audio

You cannot import a video file with audio, alter the audio and then export the result directly from Audition - you'd have to use Media Encoder to do this. You used to be able to do it, but that function has not been available for a while now.

This is happening to me as well, I just import a file into audition to re-export it as a flac and it restarts after 13 seconds, though the total duration is correct, so the start is repeated and the end is cut off.
What's weird is that I exported the same file yesterday, and it repeated the first 3 minutes. now it's 13 seconds consistently. I'm not applying anything to the audio, just importing and exporting.
