Audition with Mac OS 15

When I record a podcast on Audition for Mac OS 15.1.1, after about twenty minutes, a clicking noise starts to appear on the audio track. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I’m using professional microphones and a mixing desk. I didn’t have this issue before. I haven’t changed anything in my setup except possibly the update to my Mac.
