Batch Process creating beep

I have several mono audio files on my Windows 11 PC (in mp3) which I am trying to convert to stereo. It all seems fine if I do one at a time, but when I try using Batch Process I get an annoying beep every couple of seconds (I tried saving in different formats to no avail).

How can I fix this?

Hi williamd22634239,

Try to disable all Third party plugins

Click on Effects menu > Audio Plug-in Manager
Under Audio Plug-in Manager Click on Disable All Button.
then try batch export again.
if you get clean audio then enable plugin one by one.

I had two trial programs for Audition on my PC that had ended, and although neither used the effects I needed in my batch processing they still affected the result, as once I removed them the beep disappeared.
