connectivity issues between mixer and Audition

hello all. i have a Zoom live track L8 running through a laptop with Audio Pro using Windows 10. in audio hardware  i select AISO for device class. it lists my Zoom L8 AISO Driver as the device, but "(not working)" is indicated after it. i tried un installing and reinstalling the drivers, well as logging out of Audition multiple times. i dont know wether to look to the Zoom L8 or to Audition to try to find the problem. im open to suggestions, thank you
