Error when I create a new audio file

Hi there,

I have the latest adobe audition version. I use windows 11.

When I start a new audio file (Ctrl+Shift+N). I confirm my selection of 16 bits and 44100 and file name and I get this error (the file name will be the default "untitled")

The odd thing is that I can still record, after I hit okay to this, but it's appearing everytime I make a new file so it's kind of annoying.

I have never seen this error before. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

All the best

HI!

I did update my audition and unfortunately I am still showing the same issue.  I get the File Error message and the selection view section is not working, so I am not able to time out my VOs.  This is a big deal to me as I use this for time related Vo work.

Thanks!

Apparently the developers know about this. Hopefully they'll fix it soon...

Does it here, too. It's definitely a bug, and nothing to do with W11 - which I'm avoiding until absolutely forced to use.

For some reason, there seem to be a number of bugs introduced into this release that weren't there before. Hopefully they will fix them soon...
