Glitch when playing specific frequencies in the Waveform Editor in Audition

Hi there,

I've been encountering a glitch when selecting specific frequencies in the Waveform Editor of Audition.

I have playback set to loop, so I can highlight small areas of frequency (using the marquee or lasso selection tools) and play repeatedly to try and isolate problematic sounds.

I've been getting a little blip of full-frequency audio every time the selection loops however, and it's quite off-putting.

I've attached a video which shows the problem.

I first discovered the issue when I was using a Macbook Pro 13 inch, mid 2012 (OSX Mojave 10.13.6, running Audition build 14.4.3.4) and have recently upgraded. I'm still encountering the same issue on a Macbook Air M1, 2020, running OSX Monterey 12.6.3, using Audition build 23.2.0.68.
