Importing .MTS files into Audition and Premiere makes the sound peak 100x

Hello,

Last week I edited some videos with the same configuration with no issue. Today, my eardrums get blown out by my video's audio being 100x the volume it's supposed to be, I've been scouring the internet for a few hours and the only solution that has worked for me was to revert to an older 2024 version of the software.

Will there be a better solution to this moving forward?
