Metadata write-to-file issues

v23.3.0.55 - Windows 11 Education, 64-bit

After Audition recently updated to this version, I'm running to issues of the XMP AES Cart metadata randomly being unable to save to files. Sometmes if I try to save the file again it works- sometimes it doesn't. I've never experienced this with Audition, in years and years of use. We are in a university setting, and our Adobe products are updated as new versions are released.
