newest update (23.6.061)won't use mouse wheel to zoom on waveform display

previous versions would allow mouse wheel alone without additional keys to zoom in and out on a waveform.  The ease of doing this was a main reason for me to maintain my current subscription  and usage of the product since the days of cool edit.

Thank you @uilleannmike for reporting this issue. We can see few more users also have reproted the same problem. Unfortunately we have not yet reproed the issue yet. Can you please help us more with provide more details like system configuration, including a screen recording?

It's definitely running okay here with W10, but I've noticed that several bugs have crept into the latest release, and that some of them are only occurring to some people. The devs definitely need to look into this...

its on a pc running Win10. Previous versions have worked fine. And the
mouse scroll functions works fine with any other application.

Zooming works fine here, using just the mouse wheel, with no additional keypresses in both Multitrack and Waveform views. Is this on a Mac or a PC? And if it's a PC, what OS?
