Playhead Issues on High DPI Monitors

This issue has been known for years, but Adobe refuses to fix it.  We pay good money for your products.  FIX THIS ISSUE…

When running Audition in Windows on a high DPI monitor, with the display set to any scaling other that 100% or 200%, the playhead changes width each time it is stepped through a waveform.  Wide, narrow, wide, narrow, etc.  100% makes everything way too small, and 200% makes everything too large.

The only “fix” is to set the application properties to override the high DPI scaling behavior, but this makes some elements of the UI too small.  We should not have to do this on a modern, expensive application.  PLEASE FIX THIS!
