Plug in Effects not in final fix

So here's my dilemma, maybe someone has an answer or solution for this.

I recently downloaded the demo for sugar bytes effectrix, I tried it out and liked it so I decided to buy the full version from their website. I applied the effects to some tracks in Audition and I can hear the effect on the timeline during playback but when I export the mixdown and play the final mix in my car, I do not hear the effects. Does anyone know why or have a solution for this? Thanks.

There have been no substantive updates to the current version since June, so no. If there's a fix in the wings, it's likely to be implemented first in the Beta release, so try that, perhaps?

Anyone know if this issue has been resolved?

Using dehumaniser 2 in audition (audition technically not supported) BUT! I can hear dehumaniser effects applied on playback in the project! I stupidly spent weeks working on a project before trying to export & then was huh.. why does this sound so different?! Oh all the tracks using dehumaniser sound like their original audio files & the fx weren't applied on export.. why?

Tried various ideas but no luck yet.. haven't tried to export to something other than .wav yet.. Did see that someone with similar issues with other 3rd party vst fx

managed to export to .aiff & the fx were applied.

Tried to pre-render tracks that have dehumaniser on them but then the effect is then removed entirely & can't be heard on playback.

if I try to apply dehumaniser fx direct to the audio file then the sound wave of the audio is replaced by silence - the waveform is gone.

Audition fx are exporting out fine as far as I can tell so it's definitely because dehumanizer a 3rd party effect/vst I figure.. but because I can hear dehumaniser in playback you'd think the fx would be able to be rendered out but I guess not!

My lazy idea is to just capture the audio out via my phone on playback since the tracks w/ dehumaniser can be heard that way... but..

I'm figuring I am going to have to switch over to Reaper & redo a lot of the project unless my lazy solution of recording the out of the preview playback works out okay.

ugh.😩 Adding & editing soundfx for videos I just find Auditon to be a better fit than Reaper. Where I use Reaper for recording music.

I did contact Krotos the makers of dehumaniser 2 but.. I have feeling they will just be like "yea there's a reason why audition isn't on our supported software list"

I shared this bug in a post in an Audition Facebook group. It turns out that lots of us are having the same issue. Adobe needs to fix this.

I am the author of the "other" post. I'm having the same issue with VST3 effects. After many searches, I have found no solution for this. I really do not want to resort to ponying up the cash for an actually DAW when all I really need to do with Audition is multitrack mixing. I sure hope someone notices this and solves it soon.

Gotcha, makes sense. Thanks for the reply Steve! All my other plug ins seem to be working fine except for this one, so it's got to be some kind of bug.

Quite a few external effects have difficulties with what amounts to a faster-than-realtime mixdown. Fortunately there's a solution that generally works pretty well, and that's to 'prerender. the effects on any given track. That's what the little lightning bolt at the top of the effects rack is for:

If you hit that, then any effects in the rack get processed in advance of the export or mixdown. It's also undoable - so you can unrender a track if you need to, and change settings or whatever. The all you do is re-render it again.

Appreciate you taking the time to reply but I already tried to prerender the track before exporting it and the effects are still not there.

So you are saying that you can pre-render a track and effectively, nothing happens?
