Saving modifications, Bugs in 24.0.3.3

I am working on sound bites, modifying the PITCH and STRETCH using the supplied Effects (process) plugins.  What's happening is that Audition is not saving these changes correctly.  That is, I apply the effect, verify it's what I want, SAVE the file.  I go to listen to the file, edits are there, but the effects are not what I ordered -- they are a bit faster.

This is a bug, I can reproduce this each time, even after restarting the application.

This is on MacOS Monterey (up to date with patches).
