Searching for files from File Explorer opened within Audition

Similar bug was recorded in the following link as well as a work around.

Audition Version: 26.3

When double-click inside an empty area of the Files panel, the file explorer pop up comes up for me to choose a file, but I am unable to. I have to change the media type and then I am able to do so.
