Some VST (3) Plug In's regularly not opening in Audition 2026 (v 26.0.0.56)

On regularly base some (Waves) VST (3) Plug In’s don’t open in Edit (Waveform) or Multitrack mode.
When opening Audition fresh start, plug in’s can be used and ALL work perfect. Plugin settings popup window shows up and can be adjusted.
After a while working and editing some of them stop working and can’t be opened anymore.
For example: After a while working, when ‘Metaflanger’ is selected in waveform-mode via menu ‘Effects/VST 3/Modulation/Waves/Metaflanger Stereo’ or in Multitrack mode in the Effects Rack, nothing happens, the plugin does not run anymore.
The plugin’s are installed properly because they initially work (when Audition is started fresh), but some of them (for example ‘MetaFlanger Stereo’, ‘Metafilter Mono’, ‘Metafilter Stereo’, ‘Metafilter Mono’, ‘OVox Stereo’, ‘OVox Stereo/Mono’) stop working/are no longer usable when using Audition for a longer time. The plugin settings popup window doesn’t appear anymore.

Other Wave Plugin’s have no problem and still are usable (For example ‘Doubler2 Stereo’, ‘Doubler2 Mono’, ‘Enigma Stereo’, ‘Enigma Mono/Stereo’ keep opening and usable without a problem).
The plugin settings popup window of these still appear and can be adjusted.

To use the above stopped plugin’s again I always have to close Audition and relaunch.
Been for a while like this but with the latest update and problem still occurs, I need to signal this.

    The one thing you should check first (this has happened before...) is whether the particular adjustment window you are looking for has got itself hidden behind the main display - an easy thing to happen.

    I wish it was that easy 😉

    In all cases (add effect in the Effects Rack or single execute the effect via menu ‘Effects → VST 3 → Modulation → Waves → (one of the mentioned not-working plugins)’, after a while working in Audition, the plugin doesn’t even show up in the Effects Rack (Waveform neither Multitrack view) when I select the plugin from my Waves effects to add to the Effects Rack.
    So due to not being added to the Effects Rack, the settings-popup doesn’t appear either.

    The mentioned affected effects shows up in the VST 3 Waves effects-tree, I can select them but they aren’t being added in the Effects Rack.

    Problem seems to occur when working for longer time in Audition.
    Even tried ‘rescan existing plug-ins in the Audio Plug-In Manager’. No luck.

    After Audition restart it does show up normally when added in Effects Rack or manually executed.

    The only other thing I can suggest is to try the current beta release and see ir the same thing happens. If it does, then I suggest making a post about it on the beta forum, where I think it’s more likely to be picked up by the developers. How much more likely, I’m not sure...
