Time added to all files

Since one of the more recent updates, all previous audio and new audio files add .006 seconds to each one when I open them. This has never been an issue as I can create an extact :30 and it usually stays that way. Now, everything is :30.066.  How can this be fixed/stopped?

Hi @MichaelStuart .

Thanks for update!  I'm sorry to hear that the issue still persists. We are not able to reproduce issue with recent Au 24.0.x release. Could you please provide additonal details; your OS platform and Au build #.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation in this matter.

-Thanks

It still does it. Adds .066 to each file. If the file is saved, then reopened, it adds it again. If not saved, it goes back to the original time, and adds .066 to it when opened again.

Hi All, can you please try this in latest build. This was fixed in 24.0 or later

I can share anyting you wish but it's any and all audio files I have in my possession or have create over the years. this all started with the most recent or one before that, update. So again, I can share files but if it's all audio files that I create or have had for many years, not sure how that will help.

Hey there!

I am attaching some screen shots for ease.
I created a :30 second file as in the attached AA-Create 30.

I saved it, then closed it. When I open it again, the file is now :30.066.

To test it, I made an edit (lowered the volume) and saved it as AA-Create 30r, and closed it.

When I opened it, the file is now :30.119 in length. I can keep doing this and the file gets larger each time.

So what it is doing is it is adding .066 to this and every audio file I have in my possesion or create. If I open it, and do no edits, close it and  open it again, it remains whatever the length it was. IN the above example, :30.119. However, if i edit it in any way and save it, then open it again, it adds another .066. In this case below, our original file is now :30.171.

I tried to go back to earlier versions but it makes no sense to backwards and use a lesser product/version.
Does this help?
